Buying Sherman jewelry is like investing in antiques or gold. It may cost more but your investment is never wasted.
Sherman brooch sets (brooch/earrings) and full demi parures (necklace, brooch, earrings, bracelets) are the best bet for investors. Bracelets are very much in demand as there weren't as many of those produced by Sherman as his necklaces etc.
Some colours are much more sought than others: Sherman was famous for his "Siam red", so if you can find one of those, snap it up! The other colours that are popular are fuschia, pinks, dark ambers, and in general, the darker colours. You might also want to keep an eye out for the clear diamond-like sets that Sherman made, especially those in the Art Deco style.
